Spending the week in Palacios, TX. Hung 2 feeders; saw up to 5 birds at 1 time. One feeder bossed by a juvenile Rufus male; other feeder bossed by juvenile male Rubythroat. Took feeders down on 10/08/2012 and traveled home to Cypress, Tx. Found a Ruby throat guarding the flower beds containtin red Salvia and Turk's Cap. Hung 1 feeder and a juvenile male Rufus took it over.
