The Kindergartners came in from the playground all excited! They had spotted a dozen Monarchs flying overhead while they played. The teacher's assistant confirmed that there was a 'flock' of Monarchs passing overhead.
We have tagged and released 10 newly emerged Monarchs in the last week. There are still 13 chrysalides and 1 half-grown caterpillar in the classroom.
