Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/10/2012

Number: 25

My first grade class was at Betty G. Ross Park for the Fire Safety Fair. While we were waiting in line for lunch we began noticing monarchs. We ended up seeing 25 in less than 20 minutes. This may have continued, but we were too busy to be able to continue counting. It had been the first sunny, warm spell for several days.
