Little RTH arrives at 6:36AM to the nectar feeder. Temp 39F,low cloud cover, raw and windy. At 7:30AM a short band of rain came through which appeared to have some snow in it. Luckily by mid morning the rain stopped but it was windy a good part of the day. In spite of the weather she visits the feeder regularly. Luckily the winds subsided by mid afternoon. Hard to say if she is gaining weight but she looks a little more active. Zips toward the side yard a few times and across the street. I saw her scratch her head and do a little stretching, mostly of the tail, not really wings. Her last visit to the feeder was at 6:18pm, temp at that time was 44F. This is one tough Hummer. I just wish she would be on her way! Tomorrow will be one week she has been here.
