I have one guarding a feeder in the front yard and another trying to hog all four feeders in the back yard (typically they claim only one feeder in the back so this one is being exceptionally greedy). Those two are visible most of the day. I've seen both chasing off other hummingbirds. I saw three at once in the backyard. The one guarding the back yard appears to be a juvenile because it has difficulty staying upright when perching. He keeps tipping over. Either he is young or something is wrong with his balance. He is very aggressive so is apparently otherwise healthy. I haven't been able to get a really good look at it because when I go outside it flies into one of the trees.
