Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/12/2012

Number: 1

Well, it's been about a week since our two immature males left for southern warmth. But...yesterday morning we saw a very plump female feeding at our Pineapple sage at the Koi pond. This morning she was back again. Maybe she's hanging around for a couple days to pack on some more grams so she can continue on her journey south. Wish I had a photo, but the one posted the other day by Glenna Harrower could have just as easily been representative of a scene here, except that her's was an immature male!
