Number: 1

My children and I observed what we thought wad a large owl in a huge live oak tree in our yard. After a short while the (owl) spread his wings and took flight ! WOW !!! To our amazement it was no owl , and letting out that unbelievable scream further assured me this huge wingspanned beauty was nothing like the typical hawk we see everyday in south Louisiana. TRULY A SIGHT TO BEHOLD ! This was a moment that my children and I will ALWAYS REMEMBER and TRULY CHERISH ..If these amazing creatures are something you see everyday , consider yourself lucky . We are truly in awe over this sighting as I didn't think we had these here . I can only pray that this wonderful bird chooses to nest here where we will PROUDLY share our home ..........p.s. I feel patriotic
