Still have the little Rubys here on north side of Lake Conroe. We've changed the remaining feeders to smaller versions now since there are only, on average, 2 fighting over each feeder. It's amazing to watch one little female attempt to protect more than one feeder! Where does she get all that energy. We sometimes see 3 at a feeder but mostly it will be a single. I've watched a 1st year male begin to mature over weeks at the kitchen feeder.
