I saw a bald eagle attacking an osprey that was carrying a fish while flying over my backyard. My parents saw it too. The osprey was crying and circling lower and lower trying to get away from the eagle. We live 4 miles from the George Washington bridge and Manhattan and about one mile from the Hudson River where ospreys are fairly common.
