Sightings report image

Date: 10/14/2012

Number: 1

My last regular Ruby-Throated Hummingbird female has finally went South. Last seen feeding at the feeder at 6:00 p.m. 10/11/12. She became a welcome site on a daily basis the past few weeks, with a no fail routine of visiting and guarding the feeder from a specific tree limb located near the feeder. Though I will miss her, I was happy to see her safely on her way and look forward to hopefully seeing her again next year. I'll have your feeder out and waiting for you in the Spring sweet little friend! Below is one of the last photos taken of her on her tree limb on October 9th.
