I headed down to the Leslie Street Spit in Toronto on this beautiful Thanksgiving day. I spotted about 30 adult monarchs, all but one nectaring on new england aster.


I also found 2 4th (?) instar caterpillars, eating old, dusty, even moldy milkweed.
