The female Monarch that came out of her chrysalis the other day, has been released yesterday, Oct. 17, 2012. As I had to go south anyway I took her with me in my car to a park in Whitby, ON by Lake Ontario. One of your other members on this site recommended feeding her some sugar water before releasing her. I put her in a few remaining fall flowers. This was the first warmer day in the last week and the temperature went up to 17 degrees Celsius. Today is another beautiful day, however it is pretty windy. Recently found out about tagging them, so I will be looking at doing that next year and try to take pictures for uploading.
