Students from the Schuylerville Elementary School's 4th grade planted over 60 Red Emperor tulips. A portion of the butterfly garden was designated for the tulip test garden. The garden contains a great deal of clay, therefore, compost was added to the soil. It was a beautiful day and the planting reinforced concepts taught in the classroom.
