I'm really dismayed by the absence of Monarchs during this migration period. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number I've seen in the last week. Even the Master Gardener garden where I work 30 miles north of here - and which is full of butterfly-friendly plants - is practically Monarchless, too.

I'd like to think they're simply taking a different route, but I know that's merely ignoring the facts.

Beyond disappointing!
