Our fourth grade class of 21 students planted our tulip bulbs today. We also planted 5 control bulbs. The air temperature was about 83.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The weather felt warmer than usual and humid. It was also very windy. The soil temperature was about 62 degrees Fahrenheit. The soil felt a little moist from recent rain, but was dry in some parts. We're excited to observe our tulip garden and see which tulips emerge and bloom in the Spring.
