Percentage of Color Change in Leaves on Trees:
Percentage of number of leaves on the trees: I have noticed that on some trees in the area nearly 100% of the leaves have changed color in the last week. However, I have also noticed several trees that have had about 25-30% of its leaves change color.
Date all leaves have fallen from tree: There are many leaves still on the trees but there are quite a few leaves that are beginning to accumulate on the ground.
Things noted about other plants in the area: The grass is still very green and growing. I have also been noticing an increased amount of acorns falling from trees.
Date last monarch/hummingbird/robin was sighted: Have not seen any of these recently.
Things noted about other animals in the area: I have noticed more activity with squirrels in the area. Have not noticed any flocks of migrating Canada Geese pass overhead yet.
