Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/23/2012

Number: 100

At Camino Real Park there are at least over 100 Monarchs starting to come into the park to go to the Eucalyptus Groves. I have seen some with tattered wings. There are plenty of flowers there for nectar. In the Ventura Keys they are flying around the neighborhood also drinking nectar from the plants. No mating. Just hungry. I have seen tattered wings on them also.
