4 Monarchs spotted again today at Clearville Park. Clearville Park is on the north shore of Lake Erie. I spotted 4 yesterday as well. Given the size of Clearville Park it is unlikely that they are the same butterflies that I saw yesterday. All are searching for nectar which is now hard to find. We have had 5 nice days in a row but the nice weather is coming to an end tomorrow. The forecast is for very cold conditions with possible snow in the next few days. If I could buy these butterflies an airline ticket to Mexico I would but I know that is not possible. It's always sad to see the migration tail get frozen out by uncooperative weather.
