Fourth grade students from Loudonville Christian school planted a Journey North test garden at the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center and were part of the big announcement that Albany's Tulip Festival was chosen as a Top 100 Event in America by the American Bus Association. The mayor of Albany plus the Tulip Queen and her court were on hand for the tulip planting and several photos were printed in the local newspaper the next day. Everyone had a great time planting and we encourage students to visit the 65th Annual Tulip Fest in May.
