Our grade two and three class planted tulips in our lower field so that we can see which tulips will come up first in North America. First we took out the grass. Then we put peat moss in with the soil. Next we dug holes for the tulip bulbs. After that we put the tulip bulbs in, making sure that they were 15 cm down and that the stem was at the top and the roots were at the bottom. Finally we covered the tulip bulbs with dirt. We are really excited to see when they will come up.
