Sightings report image

Date: 11/01/2012

Number: 1

On November 1, 2012 Mrs. Roemer’s Computer class at Springfield Middle School planted the first “batch” of tulip bulbs. Four different class periods planted tulips today. The first group of students started planting around 8:45 AM. There were clear blue skies with the sun rising from the East. It was breezy with a slight chill. The second group of students started planting their tulips around 9:30 AM. It was roughly 52 degrees. The weather was almost the same. By 10:20 AM the third class period went out to plant their tulips. It was 61 degrees with clear blue skies. It was also chilly with a breeze. The fourth and final period went outside around 12:40 PM. There were a few clouds in the sky and the weather was almost the same as the previous period. Overall it was a beautiful day with great weather. It was a perfect day to plant tulips!
