I was out of town yesterday and did not return until dusk. The feeders were almost empty though I had filled them before I left in the morning. The male Anna's were waiting. One buzzed to within inches of my face angrily twittering at me. Needless to say, they got fresh nectar immediately. Today the sun is shining and the hummers are hyperactive.
