Our first grade classes at Olson Elementary have a tradition of planting tulips in our test garden. Ms. Kale's, Ms. McGaw's, Ms. Mizushima, Ms. Overboe and Ms. Riley's class all went out to plant the tulips this year! They worked in teams to dig, plant and cover the bulbs. Mrs. Olsen, one of our wonderful parent volunteers, came to teach and to supervise. She is also helping us get our vegetable garden started this year. The students are excited about seeing the tulips emerge after wintering in the ground.
