My adult male ruby-throat is still here. At this point I'm beginning to think if he was going to continue to migrate south he would have done so already. He should be ok for another couple weeks, but it is becoming increasingly likely this hummer will perish in my yard when winter hits. 2 1/2 weeks ago I was excited to see a rare very late adult male ruby-throat in my yard, but now I'm feeling pretty sad about it.
