Dear Journey North,
We are a homeschool. We planted our Tulip Test Garden today at our home. We are excited to learn what colors our Tulips are, how wide they are going to grow, and we were excited to plant them. I had fun measuring the 6" apart from each one and seeing how many we had to do in each group. I think it is interesting that you need to plant them in the winter in September- November and so that they burst open in the Spring. In the Spring they are going to bloom, and seeing hummingbirds, butterflies sucking out of them and very excited about seeing all of those wonderful creatures. I am excited to see birds come back, make nests in the trees and see them playing around in the flowers.
