Still seeing lots of monarchs and monarch caterpillars in my yard since my last report. In the past few weeks I will often see 3-5 at a glance all at one time in my yard. They are often nectaring on my blooming bottle brush tree, blooming butterfly weed ect. I am happy to offer them nectar and abundant milk weed to lay eggs on.I am letting any new milkweed seedlings in my backyard to grow wherever they emerge undisturbed. I am seeing lots of monarch caterpillars. The warm sunny weather here is just beginning to get more chilly.
