Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 11/09/2012

Number: 1

The dirt was wet and muddy because it had rained several days in a row. We even had sleet one day that week. The temperature was 60 degrees. It was a little bit windy that day. It was partly sunny and partly cloudy. The thermometer also said the humidity was 60%. It was kind of hard digging up the soil to plant the bulbs. The dirt had was clumpy and if you squeezed a clump hard enough it crumbled. We planted 18 centimeters into the ground. We put little markers with numbers on them near our plants so we will know where they are. We put a net over the bulbs so that animals won't eat them. We wonder how long it will take for them to grow. Will all of our bulbs grow? Will the net work? It was very fun to plant tulips.
