We planted red emperor tulip bulbs according to Journey North's specifications (7" deep, 4" apart) in a prepared flower bed. It was a beautiful, cold, sunny day. We counted and tallied the bulbs before planting them. We also practiced measuring a 7" deep hole on using our interactive white board before we went outside. Planting the tulips helps us to be excited for spring!
