I observed a Monarch flying south while biking at a local park this afternoon. Skies were clear with temps in the low 60's and winds were north at 5 to 10mph. Our lowest temp so far this fall has been 29 degrees and there have been several frosts. Hope the Monarch can make it far enough south to overwinter. I was a bit surprised to see on this late in the season.
