Today we planted 20 bulbs in our Tulip Test Garden in our raised beds which we usually use for the school garden. It was partly sunny and 46 degrees when we did our planting at 1:30 this afternoon. Beneath about an inch and a half of top soil, though we ran into trouble... frost! With a bit of effort and a whole lot of teamwork we broke through to softer soil and were able to complete our planting. We are excited to be engaged with a global community of scientists and hope to connect with other classrooms come spring!
