It was a wonderful experience for our students. We measured the circumference of their bulbs, drew and labeled diagrams, and collected data regarding the range of sizes for our class. We will retain this information, and compare it to the planting results in the spring. The students were very enthusiastic about planting their tulips and look forward to observing them grow in the spring. I am sure they will be very interested to learn of the tulip growth patterns at other school locations as well. We look forward to sharing and collecting more information at the tulips "arrival".
