Students planted two bulbs each at their homes. All students planted the first bulb exactly the same and added one variable to the planting of the second bulb. We are also collecting data from wooly bear caterpillars to see if there is any corolation between the width of the orange segments and the emergence/bloom of the tulips. We've also planted a tulip bulb in a planter attached to an outside window to observe the development of the bulb under more natural conditions than growing one inside in water with a pre-chill. We can see the buld in soil through the window.
