Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 11/28/2012

Number: 1

Sitting out in the back yard watching the sunlight melt the fog above the Rio Grande. 45dF, no wind, going to warm up to about 75 today. Nectar sources red sage, tropical milkweed, bouganvillia, antigonon vine. A hummingbird suddenly popped up in the brush just a few feet away and hovered, watching me, for some time. Can't swear it was a male rubythroat, but it was green front and back.
