We planted 12 tulips around a tree in new top soil at 7 inches deep. We added fertilizer. We will soon add mulch to the soil to protect our bulbs during the winter. We also planted 3 other test plots: 1 plot with fertilizer 7inches deep next to the school, 1 plot 5 inches deep next to the school, and 1 plot without fertilizer 7 inches deep next to the school.
