My fiance & I followed a photographed 2 immature bald eagles along the St. Joseph river for approx. 4 miles. They perched in large trees on 2 different occasions in a 30 min period before taking flight out of sight. One of them played with a large limb briefly. It appeared to be stripping it of the bark before dropping it.
