We watched a bald eagle for a few hours. One arrived first and was eating something on the frozen part of the river. After a while a second bald eagle arrived and the other one went and perched in our tree in the back yard. When they are that close you can see how incredibly large they are. It was an incredible experience. Since then I have seen them 2 more times. We must be in their winter hunting ground? I have not seen them in the summer months.
