Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 12/22/2012

Number: 1

Well, I just put out some fresh sugar water and barely got in the door before our little female ruby throat was at the feeder. It is 7:20 am and 31 degrees outside. We had a bad rainstorm with a lot of wind Thursday and then yesterday we had strong winds and temps in the lower forties. We were concerned whether our little hummer could find a place to weather the storm and it appears she did fine. Since yesterday was the first day of winter, we now have a ruby throat in winter! Will try to get a piture of her over the weekend if we can.
