We have heard birds singing. We don't know what kind of bird though. At the time of this post, we heard them singing away, now it is snowing very lightly. We also have year round humming birds. As I type this the snowing has stopped and it is quiet outside. We have lived here since 1995 and this is the first time we have ever heard birds singing in December. We also see our hyacinth at about 4 inches tall. What do you make of this??
