The eagle was spotted in a tree next to Bog Meadow reservoir. The solitary bird may have been passing through the area. Another observer reported that the eagle had been feeding on a deer carcass trapped in the ice of the reservoir. I have not seen the eagle again even though I pass through the area daily.
