I saw one robin with several cardinals, male and female grouped together in a line of trees near a cornfield and park. The robin spent some time in the trees, but was down on the ground trying to peck into the moist ground near and around the snow. I didn't understand what was going on until I saw this site why the bird was alone with no other robins around. I could not tell what the robin was trying to eat, but I'm aware of bushes in the area with red berries on it, though I don't know what the bush is called.
