Walking along the Springbrook trail, 7-8 Robins were sighted on the snow covered banks, on the ice and around the water. We saw one take off and skid across the water, which neither of us had ever seen before. I was able to take several pictures but only 4 turned out without blurriness. One is attached. What a treat to hear the song of a Robin in early January!
