Hello fellow birders; Just went out and fed the birds. All the usual suspects at the feeder.Sparrows, nuthatches, slate juncos cardinals,downys,bl.jays,red-bellies,robins,and the occasional coopers hawk looking for lunch. They have had to share it with the squirrels. There are two large burr oaks in the backyard so there is always tree rats(squirrels). A woodchuck has decided to hibernate in the hill next to my home.Come February I'll let you know what (s)he thinks.Have included a picture of my hummingbird garden in August hopefully. If your wonder what the triangular object is,It's a wind harp my husband for me.It works beautifully. The hummers sit on it all summer long.
