Last winter's 4th largest California overwintering site

This wintering site is known as Pacific Grove's Butterfly Grove Sanctuary. It was the 4th largest site last winter, and was one of only 5 sites that had more than 10,000 monarchs.

Last winter's count (2011/2012): 12,265 monarchs

Previous winter's count (2010/2011): 4,968 monarchs
