Tulips PLANTED

Date: 01/02/2013

Number: 1

Today 3D, Ms. McComas' third grade class, planted 22 tulip bulbs. The weather was cool, cloudy and drizzling and approx. 57 degrees. Afterwards we planted 5 experimental bulbs. Group 1 partially peeled theirs, cut a chunk out of it, gave it not enough bonemeal and too much water. Group 2 cut theirs vertically in half, peeled off the roots, added a little bit of bonemeal, and planted one half on top of the other, group 3 peeled theirs, then cut it horizontally, planted it too shallow with too much bonemeal. Group 4 gave theirs too much bonemeal, partially peeled it and planted it right side up. Group 5 peeled theirs completely, cut the top of their bulb off, gave it too much bonemeal and planted it upside down. We wonder how they all will end up!
