I planted a garden full of tulips, daffodils and crocus on November. Right now, I am anxious because thise weekend we are about to experience a thaw. Five years ago, the same thing happened. There was a January thaw in which the temperature went up tp 20 C. My bulbs sprouted stems that grew to about 3".

Five days later the temperature went down to-10. All my bulbs died. I don't want that to happen again. As much as a warm period is pleasant, I would rather have temperatures around freezing so that I can enjoy beautiful colour in the spring
