It was no doubt a bald eagle, have seen them when I live in Maine, but never in the panahandle of Florida. It was on the ground near a fresh road kill rabbit. When I approached it flew into a tall pine tree. Unfortunatly I could'nt get a picture because it was too deep in the tree. I have live in the area for 10 years, and was really surprised to see this bird!
