First noticed the mass gathering on 4 JAN 2013 as they were on the ground all around. They are still here on 11JAN13. A quick count of just the birds on the ground (road median, lawn areas, etc.) was in the hundreds and have seen and heard many more in the sky and surrounding trees.

I've worked here for 20 years, first time I've seen a mass gathering of one species of birds in the area.
