for the first time I have had a hummingbird overwinter here in E Wenatchee wa. The Anna hummingbird usually stays over in Seattle area where temperatures stay above freezing.
I had two hummingbirds through the summer then one of them stayed all the way through Dec 1, 2012 then I did not see her for three weeks, then on Jan 6th 2013 she showed up again and has been here all week.
