At 4:00 pm today I spotted a Robin sitting in the grass of our school. He was by himself. He didn't fly away when I approached, only turned away from me. I got as close as 20 ft. Away.

The weather today is very cold, over night it got down to 12 , at the time of the sighting it was 24.

On Saturday 1/12/13, the temp in Indianapolis was 64 high. Sunday, 1/13/13, we received over 2 inches of rain which brought out the earth worms.

I thought this sighting was very early, wondering if he was staying in Indiana for the winter.
