I am an avid birder, and participate in two Xmas Bird Counts for Audubon each Christmas season, one in Woodstock Vermont, the other Hanover NH-Norwich VT. Every year there are at least a few birds seen on the Hanover-Norwich count, and the past two years robins have been seen on both (last year they were abundant). They'll stick around here as long as there's food. This year there's not much food, but still a few robins hanging on, eating the bittersweet fruit where it's growing. The small flock I saw in Lebanon NH were all eating bittersweet-
